Through built environments and video projection, animation, printmaking and artist books, I investigate the complex way we experience inhabitation, bringing into question the function and perception of boundaries. The materials I use reference veils, skins, layers, and screens, all of which pertain to access and containment. I focus on how we conceive and construct the relative relationships between interior and exterior, and the ongoing negotiations to establish a sense of belonging - an effort I refer to as 'homing'.
